"Powerstream instantaneous electric, point-of-use water heaters install at the sink and provide endless hot water while eliminating wasteful cold water runout. The RP12 (AE12) unit can heat up to an 72 degree temperature rise @ .75gpm. The unit is rated at 12kw @ 240 volts and draws up to 50 amps. The Powerstream electric water heater unit uses two copper heating elements and a copper heat exchanger for optimum heat transfer. Wattage can be reduced by only using one of the heating elements.
